Parents & Educators

My World Program's mission is to fully prepare today’s student for the complexities of tomorrow’s world. To help them know themselves and the world.

Atlanta Teens

Tired of being stuck in your neighborhood? Each year we invite 10 Atlanta area teens, 8th through 11th grade, to join us, January through May, as we embark on a journey to new places, people and opportunities.

Donors

Making a monetary donation to My World will ensure that every program participant is able to afford their travel.

What is Global Citizenship?

A GLOBAL CITIZEN IS SOMEONE JUST AS COMFORTABLE AT HOME AS THEY ARE IN OTHER COUNTRIES.

They are people who value the human family regardless of national origin as much as they value their blood family. Global Citizens are also passionate about the issues that affect the citizens in their neighborhoods as well as those impacting citizens around the world. Because we live in an increasingly interconnected world, My World aims to cultivate global citizens, one student at a time.

What do Teens Think?

They Just Wanna Have Fun!

Students in our program have fun exploring the world around them, meeting new people, traveling near and far, having adventures and making a difference in their community. But don't take our word for it, watch the video and hear what they have to say!

About us

It is the mission of My World to prepare today’s student for the complexities of tomorrow’s world. Through local and international travel, team-building, cultural excursions, and community involvement; young people will develop a strong sense of who they are, cultivate an awareness and understanding of other cultures and engage in their community while learning how to collaborate, think critically, be creative and effectively communicate.
