Providing our students the opportunity to leave the country is one of the cornerstones of our program. Once students have completed skill building workshops and had the opportunity to practice their skills on a local and national level, we challenge them to practice on a global level. Not only do we provide the opportunity to travel abroad but we also provide scholarships that cover half of their expenses because we know cost is one of the biggest barriers to travel. We also pride ourselves on creating opportunities for students to engage in regions most US students never visit, the Middle East and Africa. In 2015 students spent a week in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and in 2016 students plan to travel for a week in Senegal.
